Česká republika má 12 zástupců v Evropském výborů regionů, v němž zasedají místní a regionální zástupci.
Tento poradní výbor konzultuje návrhy právních předpisů, aby bylo zaručeno, že tyto předpisy berou v úvahu hlediska všech regionů EU.
